After surveying members and forming industry subgroups, the National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones (NAFTZ) is now sending letters to key officials about the most critical matters within the NAFTZ community.

There have been many outstanding questions about when the PGA message set should be transmitted for a Type 06 entry.

Many of the Partner Government Agencies (PGAs) have reviewed the FTZ program and determined when they would like the PGA data transmitted. The options that the CBP ACE system offers for the PGA message set filing at this time are cargo release or entry summary. Last Friday CBP finally offered some clarification in the CSMS #16-000431 - Guidance on Partner Government Agency Entry Type Codes.
