  • First FRN expected in near term for pilot for export manifest filing in ACE – other modes to follow
  • CBP wants to obtain export manifest data prior to departure for targeting/risk assessment purposes
  • CBP moving forward with Export Pilot to map the process flow for Export.
  • COAC recommends CPSC develops a Trusted Trader program to reduce burden of data collection for highly compliant importers
  • CPSC should make every effort to evaluate expense for software development needed for the Pilot
  • COAC recommended CPSC Pilot incl a variety of importer sizes as well as modes of transportation
  • Public Meeting will be hosted 5/13 at CPSC HQ to discuss the CPSC Pilot
  • FRN soliciting CPSC Pilot participation will be published in May 2015. Recruiting max of 10 participants for Pilot.
  • Discussions for CPSC Pilot for electronic filing of certificates of conformity underway.
  • COAC recommends that CBP periodically monitor PGA readiness for Nov 1 deadline and adjust implementation dates accordingly
  • Next deadline Nov 1 2015 mandatory use of ACE for all cargo release & related entry summary filing
  • ACE deadline looming -May 1st mandatory electronic filing for all manifests. May 3rd ACE becomes system of record for all air manifests.
